“Fantastic location next to Old Harbour”
Just returned from a seven night stay. We paid a little extra for a seaview room with balcony, Really worthwhile particularly if you are visiting soon - roadworks outside front of hotel which make it very, very dusty - likely to take seveal months. Did not affect us, but would not have been happy if our room was facing the town. Your are literally next to the beautiful harbour.
Lovely old hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Well kept and clean, although as I have read elsewhere slightly old and sometimes strange fittings/furniture.
We had the buffet breakfast which was great once you understood the system. Lots to choose from, not all to our taste, but fresh fruit, cerials and yogurt and a chef outside who would cook omlettes to order. Only thing not really good was fruit juice. Plenty of good restaurants locally to eat at.

Disliked — Lack of fresh fruit juice at breakfast
