Dome Hotel Review - 41 of 93 Reviews

This is our fourth stay at this lovely old hotel. This place was built a while ago, so it's not as modern as some, but if you like architecture and love the old style of hotels, look no further. The Dome Hotel is fabulous! They have updated some things a couple of years ago so it's not completely outdated but you still get the feel of being in a historical-type atmosphere. The Dome is surrounded on three sides by water, so pretty much everywhere you look, you see ocean. My wife and I think this place is beautiful! The pool is very well maintained and never too crowded, but because there is access to the bay, we didn't spend much time at the pool. Also, the staff are truly helpful and always go out of their way to make sure our stay is pleasant and comfortable.

As for sight-seeing in Northern Cyprus, this place cannot be beat. Besides the harbor nearby with it's tons of restaurants and bars (the nightlife is awesome if you're into that), you have miles of surrounding mountainous and coastal roads to explore if you care to rent a car. If you love gazing at breathtaking beauty, for sure take a drive along one of the many roads winding along the coast or up into the mountains. You'll get some good photo opportunities also, if you like taking pictures.

We plan to make the Dome Hotel a vacation spot of ours for a long time to come. Not only do we enjoy the hotel and nearby restaurants, the locals are friendly and helpful as well, so during one of your drives, if you happen to get lost, just stop and ask someone for directions. It's a wonderful vacation spot and we look forward to our next visit to North Cyprus and maybe back here to the Dome Hotel!
