This is a hotel review for Dome Hotel in Kyrenia, North Cyprus

“Superb waterfront location. We will return.”

The position of the Dome Hotel is superb being right on the waterfront, close to all the good restaurants and although on a busy road the noise disappears as soon as you enter its portals. The hotel is aging well and will need an upgrade very soon but doesn't let you down on any front.. The rooms are not large but clean , the beds comfortable and the plumbing works. The balcony on your room gives peace to both the early morning and the evening setting of the sun. The hotel is spacious with a magnificent sun terrace slipping down to the two swimming pools and the ocean and you are cannot be besieged or annoyed by people surrounding you.

The Bar has old world charm and comfort and the area for meals could accommodate the Turkish Army if required. Breakfast is adequate and substanial but I would ignore having other meals. The staff were at all times courteous, helpful , efficient and always with a good sense of humour. There is also an excellent Sauna to soothe tired muscles before enjoying more entertainment. We will return.
