This is a hotel review for Dome Hotel in Kyrenia, North Cyprus
“great seafront location but very jaded bedrooms”
we arrived to find very dated bedrooms, albeit with a seaview. The communal areas are fine but the poolside has very tatty anti slip carpet in bright blue which could do with replacing. the drinks area overlooking the pool is very pleasant and the staff are friendly.
Our friends bedroom had a very odd bathroom with the basin overlapping the loo! Very tired decor to this and the bedrooms, thought the beds were comfortable.
Breakfasts were perfectly nice though non of us thought that Nescafe was acceptable. Fresh coffee wouldn't cost an arm and a leg!
I understand that the staff have recently taken this hotel over from the government and are beginning to refurbish the hotel. It isn't that evident at the moment but i am sure will be better in time. I wouldn't call this a 4 star catagory hotel but average with a nice sea view
