What a brilliant choice this turned out to be! This was our first visit to Northern Cyprus and Mandy from gocyprus.com gave us brilliant advice over the phone. Kyrenia is a lovely area, the main town with harbour a delight and if you get the chance take a trip to Famagusta; beautiful.

We weren't expecting to get fed as we arrived pretty late, but as we were checking in the receptionist offered us a meal. We ordered what we wanted and went up to our room to freshen up before eating. The room was huge! Modern décor, a big modern bathroom and my telly addict partner was over the moon when he found out how many channels we had, including several in English. Our unexpected meal was delicious and we had high hopes for the rest of the holiday, and we weren't disappointed.

Breakfast and evening meal are served buffet style. There is so much to choose from I can't begin to list them all. Dinner was outstanding as there were both plenty of hot options and cold dishes and salads. The hotel was packed but never felt overcrowded and there was none of that queuing for a table we had experienced elsewhere in Europe. The staff were all amazing and literally nothing was too much trouble for them. The pool area is lovely and clean with a well stocked bar.

After discovering the private beach on the first day this became our little haven despite the time of year. We did brave a swim, shallow water and quite refreshing. We went up the steps to sit under an umbrella at the bar/restaurant. I never stayed anywhere before that has really thought of everything. A few of the guests were elderly and they took them down the hill to the beach in a buggy.

We really feel like we have found a real gem in the Denizkiki and intend on booking another trip really soon, Oh, and as an added bonus, there is a great Red Lion British pub next door. We recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a holiday that ticks all the boxes.
