“Great location, staff and facilities”
Our second stay at The Colony and didn't disapoint. The management have clearly listened to previous guests comments, with the bathroom upgraded wih a large walk in shower and tea and coffee facilities now included in the room, which have also had a makeover. Not sure about the carpets in the rooms now though, very pale and didn't seem to be hoovered every day - preferred the previous tiles.All staff were very accomodating and members of management were often patrolling the various areas of the hotel. We tried the casino and whilst I won on the roulette wheel, couldnt stay for long as the number of players smoking in there made the atmosphere oppressive for a non smoker. This place is recommended for those wanting a high class central Kyrenia location, 2nd floor rooms 201-212 are non smoking and have a fairly large balcony (the only rooms that do I think) albeit they overlook the busy road and 2 petrol stations - but the noise is well suppressed in the room itself.
