This is a hotel review for Colony Hotel in Kyrenia, North Cyprus

“5 star hotel - but we don t feel cosy”

We stayed in the colony for 4 days. First the positive things: Excellent located in the city of Kyrenia, large rooms with first-class furniture and outstanding breakfast. But unfortunately there were some issues which avoid to feel us comfortable: Horrible prices at the Mini bar (€ 10,-- for 0,25 liter vitamin drink), striclty forbiddance to take any mineral water to our room (if you try the hotel staff stops you and withdraw water) and some of the waiters are arrogant (if you are not a VIP).
