Club Simena Review - 5 of 40 Reviews

I have to admit that I wouldn't normally bother with writing reviews of the places and hotels I stay at, but this time as it was a recommendation for me to come here, I thought I'd spend a few minutes noting down my thoughts on the whole experience for others to read and, hopefully, find useful when looking at tripping out to North Cyprus. My fiancee and I had decided to spend a one week trip away with another couple, university friends of ours and just by chance I read a review of hotels in Kyrenia. One that stuck out to me was the Club Simena so after some consideration we decided to give it a shot. We booked for the four of us to fly out and spend some time away from the drab of daily working life.

The prices were surprisingly reasonable but this may have had something to do with the time of year we wanted to travel. Upon arrival we were all taken back by how nice and affable the staff seemed to be. I work in a busy london office during the week and cant even remember the last time I saw somebody smile for no apparent reason other than being in a happy mood! Our rooms were spacious, minimal in terms of clutter and also had some great views too! We could clearly see the mountains in the distance and some lovely blue sky almost every day we were here. It was also fairly peaceful too, not too many loud brits cluttering up the place if you know what I mean.

The facilities were great, with a pool (clean too) a gym (which we used daily) and mini golf! Which was a lot of fun. We spent most of our time here eating good food and drinking good wine, but if we decided to, there were plenty of things to entertain us. One such day we visited a castle which was something very different. There's a lot of history tot his place for those who are interested.

We all had a really good time and felt we'd certainly return to the Club Simena hotel next time we decide a couples holiday is on the agenda. We would positively recommend a visit here!
