The Club Simena Hotel is a wonderful hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here recently, even though it's a good distance from Kyrenia (about 15 minutes). There's a smaller town a little closer and you can take the bus to and from the hotel into town but to be honest, there's not a lot to do, although there are a few restaurants and internet cafes. There are quite a few historical sites in Kyrenia and more to do, but you'll need to rent a car or take a taxi.

The hotel itself is quiet and relaxing except for 2 or 3 nights a week when they have karaoke, which could be fun if you're into that kind of thing. If you're looking for quiet evenings though, you'll be disappointed, as the karaoke is very loud and goes on until quite late in the evening. We weren't really into the karaoke but since we had plenty of quiet time during our days spent at the hotel, we didn't mind too much the noise in the evenings, plus there is so much to do in Kyrenia in the evening hours, most of our evenings were spent there anyway.

Our days were spent either at the hotel's pool, which was very relaxing, or else sightseeing around the northern cyprus town of Kyrenia. Also, we did spend some time at some of the nearby beaches. They do have very nice beaches around this area, by the way. Also, our hotel is situated far enough out of town that we were able to catch glimpses of wildlife from time to time. The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped and include lovely gardens with tons of foliage that also attract some wildlife, so we spent many mornings walking around and enjoying nature at it's finest.

This was the ideal vacation, in my opinion, and hopefully I'll get to stay here at the Club Simena Hotel again sometime.
