This is a hotel review for City Royal Hotel Lefkosa in Nicosia, North Cyprus

“A good value break”

We needed a place to stay for a short break in Cyprus and the City Royal Lefkosa offered excellent prices, so we booked a break with GoNorthCyprus. The hotel is pretty basic but the staff were welcoming. We found our room to be satisfactory and relatively comfortable but it could do with a bit of an update. It was kept very clean and well stocked with toiletries throughout our stay. Breakfast is served until 11, which is ideal if you like a lie-in as we do! The choice at breakfast is limited but sufficient and the staff are very friendly and pleasant. The location is good for getting around, there are local shops and you can take a taxi into the old town in around ten minutes. It's about half an hour to get into Kyrenia but we would definitely recommend you do this to get to know the area and do some sightseeing. Overall a good value trip for the price we paid.
