We stayed at the British Hotel recently on a cheap break with gonorthcyprus. It's a basic base but we mainly booked for the location, which is superb. The hotel is set in the old harbour area and the views are great, we had a room on the third floor and loved looking out over the water from the balcony. The staff are lovely, helpful and polite and the hotel is relatively well kept. Useful to have free wifi, which worked quite well, especially in the lobby. Breakfast was adequate - cooked meats, cheese, olives and eggs, as well as jams and honey. Great spot for reaching the local restaurants and cafes for other meals. Just be aware that the hotel charges for tea bags and such in the rooms if you use them. Good price, friendly service, great spot.
