“Welcoming staff and a great location”
The British Hotel is a true 3-star place with the benefit of very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I booked a week in Cyprus with GoNorthCyprus.com and decided on the British Hotel as the location and the reviews were very good. I had a spacious, nicely appointed room with a small balcony, from which I could see the sea. This was fantastic and unexpected but very welcome. The hotel has a great location, close to all the sights - the harbour is literally one minute away on foot, so it's a great base for exploring. The owner Hamza is very welcoming and helpful, he really does make sure that all his guests are happy, so I felt very at ease and happy staying here. Breakfast is served every morning until 11, which is great if you like a lie in, and it's easy to pop in and out of the hotel during the day as it's so close to the centre of town. I would not hesitate to recommend the British Hotel to friends.
