After coming back from a short break to Kyrenia, I felt compelled to write a review on the hotel we stayed at because for the price we paid, it really was excellent! We booked last minute through Gary at Go North Cyprus- he recommended the British Hotel for its location.

The location was by far the best thing about the British Hotel. I'm happy that we stayed in a 3 star to be closer to Kyrenia town, rather than stay in a 4 star somewhere further out. We were smack bang in the middle of the beautiful old town, overlooking the stunning harbour and the roof terrace had views of the mountains. Being in the town meant that unless we wanted to go on an excursion, we didn't have to travel anywhere. Even the beach was within walking distance. Kyrenia has such a beautiful charm that we felt like we were getting a cultural experience as well as a relaxing holiday.

We had a really comfortable and spacious room, with all the mod cons and facilities you'd need. The décor was quite modern and stylish. The only negative thing about the room was the fact that the bathroom suite was a bit old and some of the white sealing on the bath was now black.

We only ate breakfast and the odd snack at the hotel because there were so many restaurants to choose from round the harbour, but what we did have was very good quality. Breakfast was always fresh and tasty. The restaurant staff were incredibly friendly; in fact, all staff in the hotel had an excellent attitude.

If looking for a quick get-away, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the British Hotel. It was comfortable, clean, with an amazing location!
