Bellapais Monastery Village Review - 59 of 65 Reviews

My husband and I stayed at Bellapais for a week after booking a great value trip with Go North Cyprus. We'd never been to the region before but found it to be ruggedly beautiful with all its mountains. The hotel is in a wonderful spot from which you can enjoy views both of the mountains and of the sea. There was a lovely friendly yet quiet atmosphere and our accommodation was spotlessly clean. Staff were hospitable and efficient and we loved the little hotel bar. The food was another major plus - we had expected to eat out a lot during our holiday but the meals at the hotel restaurant were superb and so we didn't need to! Breakfast is a la carte too, which is a nice touch. Lots of friendly local cats to stroke, don't feed them unless you want some companions for the evening! We really enjoyed our stay and have already booked a return visit for next year.
