This is a hotel review for Bellapais Monastery Village in Kyrenia, North Cyprus
“Peaceful Retreat”
My wife and I recently stayed here and found it a thouroughly peaceful location. We stayed in one of the bungalows which was clean and comfortable. The staff were efficient and helpful. The food in the hotel was good enough and there was plenty of choice at breakfast, although my wife was refused Apple Juice at breakfast even though we could clearly see there was some available in the fridge. A lack of flexibilty there somewhere. There are plenty of places to eat in Bellapais and Kyrenia and we recommend you try Niazzi's and Patina in Kyrenia. Overall the hotel added to the pleasure of our week stay in Cyprus. TIP: If you are hiring a car do NOT give the person who delivers the car 50 turkish lira for a fuel deposit. It is better to replace any fuel you have used. We ended up paying for a quarter of a tank of fuel we hadn't been able to use.
