This is a hotel review for Bare Hill Holiday Village in Kyrenia, North Cyprus

“Good Value, friendly staff and a great pool.”

We had a very pleasant two-week holiday, with airport transfers and hire car arranged through tour operator. Weather was excellent, so nice to sit out on the balcony. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, with requests for extra bedding and repairs dealt with immediately. The sheets and towels were changed frequently. The self-catering equipment included an electric kettle, but otherweise was very basic; however, eating out nearby or in Kyrenia was cheap and enjoyable. There were several beaches nearby (10-minute walk or 3-minute drive), and the hotel pool was a good size, very clean, and well maimtained. Several supermarkets nearby within very easy motoring distance. The hotel has lovely views to the mountains behind and to the sea to the front, but, as it is on the "wrong" side of the road (ie, the landward side) the traffic on the busy road was noisy - but one soon got used to it, and with the door closed and air conditioning on at night, it was fine.

For the price we paid for the package, it was very good value indeed, and would be happy to go there again.
