This is a hotel review for Balci Plaza Hotel in Karpas, North Cyprus

“A week in another world”

My wife and I decided on a last minute trip to Cyprus, we'd never been to the north before but we found the gonorthcyprus website and just went for it. Balci Plaza looked to be an interesting location, away from all the action, we like walking and as it's close to the Karpaz Peninsula we were keen to explore the national park there. When we arrived we were welcomed warmly and allotted a cosy, clean cottage. Very basic but met our needs and was very cheap. The selling point for this place is the beautiful beach nearby, it's secluded and uncrowded, so relaxing. The staff are friendly and helpful, it feels almost as if you're staying with friends. The meals are also excellent and the ingredients freshly grown on the hotel's vegetable patch or sourced from the little farm. It is a world away from our busy lives back home! Wonderful place, so glad we found it.
