“Simple, traditional charm”
For a taste of traditional Cyprus that won't break the bank, Ambelia Village is perfect. We booked a budget holiday here to escape all the rain back in the UK and it was such a relief to step off the plane to sunny skies. We booked through gonorthcyprus.com so our transfer was waiting for us at the airport and we didn't have to pay a penny extra! We were welcomed at the hotel by the family that owns it and shown to our villa, which was basic but comfortable with a traditional appeal. The atmosphere here is very relaxing and the views are amazing, you can see the sea, the city and the surrounding countryside - just beautiful. It's worth exploring locally to visit the old Bellapais monastery and you can take a taxi into the city. We ate out a lot but the meals we had at the hotel were wonderful - rustic and delicious. We will definitely be back!
