“Clean, tidy and pleasant staff”
We booked a last minute trip to north Cyprus with gonorthcyprus.com, and chose the Altinkaya because it seemed to be a good mid-range hotel. We weren't disappointed, the hotel was very nice and clean, a little dated in parts but for the price we paid we're not complaining! The staff were all very pleasant and friendly and we found our room very comfortable. Luckily we were facing the mountains rather than the road and the bed was lovely and soft, we slept really well. Breakfast was simple but plentiful and although we didn't eat at the hotel for the rest of our meals, we did have a few drinks and were impressed by the cocktail menu. Nice pool area with lots of sunbeds available and the hotel runs a shuttle bus service into town, which is very handy. A great stay for the price paid, excellent value!
