Alkan Hotel Review - 3 of 15 Reviews

My wife and I decided it was time for a short break so we chose to visit the Alkan hotel in Esentepe as my other half loves Cyprus. The Alkan Holiday Village was about half an hour ride from the Airport which wasnt too bad at all. Being a golf fan myself I was very happy to find that a new course had been built close by too. Our accommodation was quite comfortable and had air conditioning, a TV, fridge, mini bar, telephone and all the normal bits you'd expect of a hotel. The Hotel surroundings were very nice, lots of cultivated gardens with swimming pool. We visited the The Turtle Beach Restaurant found on the complex and found the food to be excellent. The restaurant had a bar and was a very relaxing environment to spend the evenings in. We found the whole trip to be very relaxing and it wasnt too busy at all. The staff were understandibly friendly and always happy to help out with any problems we had (such as not knowing how to work the air conditioner!) In conclusion we will certainly be back to visit again and would suggest this place more suits a couple looking for a quiet and relaxing break rather than a large family or group of young people.
