I found Club Simena when browsing gonorthcyprus.com and we decided to book our first break to North Cyprus there. It's not a luxury hotel but the reviews and price were good. We were pleased with the standard of our room, which was comfortable and very clean with plenty of hot water available in the shower. Staff were welcoming and efficient and we enjoyed the meals we had here too. The pool area is nice, can get a bit wild, and there are lots of local cats and dogs to stroke so animal lovers will... more

My wife and I booked a short, cheap break at Club Simena through the gonorthcyprus website. We were looking for somewhere pretty basic to switch off for a while before Christmas and Club Simena fit the bill. Staff were friendly and our apartment was basic but adequate. A lick of paint and a bit of maintenance would improve the place but for the price you can't really complain. The views of the mountains are just stunning and it really is a quiet haven, feels so different and relaxed. You can get... more

We took our daughter to Club Simena after deciding on a last-minute trip before school started. We found the hotel online and booked through Gary at GoNorthCyprus, we got a good deal inclusive of airport transfers. We arrived very early morning and were greeted warmly by the friendly receptionist. He checked us in and we found our room to be very nice, spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was plentiful but the same each day, which was fine for us but may not suit everyone. Our daughter loved the... more

We fancied a relaxing break at a good price and found Club Simena on the gonorthcyprus website. After talking to Gary in sales, we decided to book - we had read the other reviews and were impressed. When we arrived we were welcomed by the manager and shown to our room, was which comfortable with a pleasant balcony area. We made ourselves at home and enjoyed the laidback ambience at the hotel. The food is very good, not five-star but then we didn't pay for five star! We found it to be tasty and well... more

Just returned from a week at Club Simena with the wife, wonderful to get away from the miserable weather and into the sunshine! We booked a trip with gonorthcyprus as we've used them before to stay in this area but this was our first time at Club Simena. Really nice place, very clean and well presented. The staff are a major plus - they are all so friendly and welcoming, literally every one of them. Great location, you can walk to a nearby beach and the hotel is positioned on a road that makes for... more

I booked a trip here for my wife and I through gonorthcyprus, Gary in sales got us a great deal and we were looking forward to a bit of autumn sun. Weather still nice in Cyprus at this time of year and we really enjoyed our trip to Club Simena, which we found clean, tidy and welcoming. Our room was modern, clean and nicely decorated, with clean towels provided every day. The staff were friendly, especially the manager, and the food, although nothing fancy, was very good. Lots of salads and meze,... more

We spent a week here with our two little ones after booking through gonorthcyprus.com and I must say we all had a whale of a time. It's a fairly basic hotel but it's cheap, so don't expect any luxuries. Saying that, the staff are friendly and the hotel is relatively clean and tidy. We had a villa set in nice grounds, plenty of space for us all and the kids absolutely loved the pool and the aqua slides, couldn't drag them away, was great to be able to relax in the sun while they enjoyed themselves.... more

We stayed here June 10 -20th 2017 and !loved it. It was our second visit and I am sure we will be back. Manager Mehmet is a true gentlemen and the staff are all you expect in a family resort. The grounds are beautifully maintained and everything is so clean. An elderly gentlemen had medical problems which were dealt with sympathetically and efficiently. Could NOT have asked for a better holiday... more

We made a last-minute decision to book a holiday in Cyprus as wanted to escape for a bit and hadn't been to the north before. We booked in at Club Simena via the GoNorthCyprus website as it was very reasonable in price and many of the other hotels were full by this point. We stayed in a bungalow, which was nice and clean but very basic. We weren't put off by the no-frills appearance through, as we paid very little for a week here. The staff were lovely and we found the breakfast to be more than... more

We were very impressed by the descriptions and reviews of Club Simena on the gonorthcyprus website and decided to book a break in February to avoid the busy times. When we arrived there was a taxi waiting to take us to the hotel, which was wonderful. We were made to feel very welcome and the check in process for our studio room was efficient. We were surprised by how spacious the room was, very airy and well kept too. The mountain views here are breathtaking and give the hotel a very tranquil ambience.... more

We stayed at Club Simena for a week on the advice of Gary at GoNorthCyprus.com and returned with fantastic memories. Our family of four was easily accommodated in one of the villas, which was clean and spacious, plus there's lots of fun to be had outdoors for little ones - The villas are quite private too, with plenty of trees about, so we spent some time in the sun despite it being out of season. We had a great time exploring too, there are a couple of villages close by and the beach isn't too... more

Lovely quiet hotel in a really scenic setting with the mountains in the background. I took my kids (5 and 7) for a short break because we all needed a treat and the holiday was perfect for us. We booked through GoNorthCyprus.com and they handled everything so the booking process was really easy and relaxed. Our villa was clean and comfortable and the main hotel was modern, stylish and welcoming. The first thing we noticed about Club Simena was the fantastic backdrop of mountains – a really spectacular view as you approach the hotel and the kids were very excited! The hotel has garden surroundings and a large swimming pool, complete with slides, which the children were desperate to try out as soon as they caught sight of it. We stayed in a large, spacious and modern room with a good, clean bathroom and useful facilities like Wi-Fi. The hotel is set out of the way in a quiet location with... more

I feel comfortable calling myself a regular at the Simena, in as much as you can possibly be a “regular” at an establishment in a foreign country. I've been there over a dozen times at least, so I know the place incredibly well. The last few times I've been I booked through GoNorthCyprus (my most recent visit being in over Christmas last year) which has simplified the whole process somewhat. I expect I've spoken to the whole team at some point or another but this time I made arrangements through... more

I have mixed feelings about our stay at the Club Simena Hotel, Kyrenia. We were looking for a relaxing holiday and although that's what we got: the hotel was a lot quieter than we expected in terms of entertainment and having things close by. It was a little isolated so we had to hire a car unexpectedly.Despite the hotel being too quiet for our liking, we found the staff to be excellent. On the first night, we had a problem with our room and they moved us first thing in the morning, without hesitation.... more

Gary at Go North Cyprus found my family an excellent deal to stay at the Hotel Club Simena and we've just returned. We had a really excellent holiday and absolutely loved North Cyprus! Compared with other holiday destinations, it remains relatively unspoilt by tourists and had very few tacky tourist shops. The Hotel Club Simena itself was comfortable and the rooms were spacious. As we were going off-peak, the interconnected bungalows at Club Simena were available to us, so when our booking agent, Mandy, suggested it, we jumped at the chance! The party consisted of my husband and I and our two teenage children with a friend each! There was no way we would have considered staying together and they're a little too young to be left to their own devices. We had booked a bungalow for ourselves, 15 year old son & 12 year old daughter but when we arrived at the hotel we were shown to 2 double rooms in different appartment blocks. After a great deal of argument that we were not having the children seperated from us we were given rooms next to each other in the same block. The Club Simena Hotel is a wonderful hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here recently, even though it's a good distance from Kyrenia (about 15 minutes). There's a smaller town a little closer and you can take the bus to and from the hotel into town but to be honest, there's not a lot to do, although there are a few restaurants and internet cafes. There are quite a few historical sites in Kyrenia and more to do, but you'll need to rent a car or take a taxi. The hotel itself is quiet and relaxing... more

We booked two days before travelling, having never been to North Cyprus before. On arrival at Club Simena, we were pleasantly surprised, the accommodation is large and clean, the beds comfortable, set around the two large swimming pools, one with three large slides to keep the children busy. Club Simena is located around fifteen minutes away from the town centre of Kyrenia. This distance is relatively unimportant because there are buses and taxis to take you from outside the hotel to whatever destination you're heading to. Because the hotel is a little bit off the beaten track, Club Simena is fairly quiet and removed from the noise of the town centre. We arrived late in the evening and were the last coach drop to be dropped off at our hotel. The hotel we'd chosen, Club Simena, looked great from the outside and we were understandably excited, but unfortunately there was an uneven path to the door which caused me a hazard as I suffer with a bad back. We visited to the Hotel Club Simena Holiday Village for a spring break, and although the hotel is really set up for summer visitors, we had a nice time. The whole complex centres around the outdoor swimming pool, which I did not want to swim in, but there was plenty of warm sun to sit out in for most of the day. The hotel insisted on playing music all day by the pool, which was distracting and not needed. The gardens were nicely kept and nice to sit in, and you did not hear any road noise either.... more
