Excellent for a short business break

I stayed at the Merit Lefkoa recently on a business trip, booked through gonorthcyprus.com. It was my first visit and I was impressed by the pictures and the reviews online so decided to book. Top class luxury hotel

My wife and I just returned from a week away at Merit Hotel Lefkosa and what a time we had. It's a beautiful hotel, so luxurious - we found it on the gonorthcyprus website and we're really taken with its appearance so booked straightaway. Stylish and luxurious

We were looking for somewhere nice to stay in Nicosia and liked how the Merit Lefkosa seemed to combine stylish luxury with some character, so we booked a break with our agent GoNorthCyprus.com. Excellent service for a business break

I was impressed by the standard of accommodation and service and found both to be as expected on arrival. My room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was excellent, really good - about a dozen different cheeses, omelettes, pastries and more. Traditional hospitality and class

We wanted an upmarket getaway for our first trip to north Cyprus and that is just what we got. A wonderful all-rounder

My wife and I recently stayed at the Merit Lefkosa after booking with gonorthcyprus. The reviews online were a bit mixed but as we're both smokers and the main complaint referred to smoky smells, we figured we probably wouldn't be bothered about the smell. Merit Hotel Lefkosa- a surprising gem.

I have previously stayed in the Merit Crystal Cove hotel so this year decided to make a change and go for the Merit Lefkosa. Just before I went, I read a few reviews and one went on about how rude the staff are. It did worry me a bit but I need no need to worry. During my whole stay, I had no problems with the staff and my booking was correct. Relaxed and Comfortable

My visit to this hotel in December 2009 was my second and I will be back. It has good quality rooms and facilities and is certainly the best I have stayed in on Cyprus - north or south. Staff are friendly but, if you do not speak Turkish, you must accept that language may be an issue with cleaning staff. All other staff converse well in English. The hotel with the rudest staff in the world!

As I was in the neighbourhood, I thought I would drop in to this hotel to see what all the fuss was about. The hotel looks modern from the outside with a sleek interior, but unfortunately the glamour ends there...The staff all seemed to be miserable, not one could crack a slight glimpse of a smile and if you fail to notice the cracked faces then you won't miss the rudeness of the front desk and casino desk staff that are placed here to prevent customers coming in.
