My husband whisked me away on a fantastic break to Almond Holiday Village on the good advice of friends. He found a good value deal through GoNorthCyprus and Gary arranged everything for us, even transfers. It's a beautiful resort, every detail is taken care of and the staff are attentive and friendly. They give the place a lovely ambience. The gardens are well kept and appealing and the spa is very relaxing with impressive prices, great pool area too. We had a very comfortable room and enjoyed... more

We've visited Almond Holiday Village twice now and both times we've had a wonderful experience. GoNorthCyprus handled our booking and transfers very efficiently as always and we were hoping our break would be as good as the one we had two years ago. Sure enough, we were welcomed warmly just like the last time and made to feel special. The grounds are clean and well kept and the accommodation is pleasant and spacious. Nice outdoor pool and plenty of sunbeds to go round. Breakfast is fairly simple... more

We booked a week away with gonorthcyprus at the Almond Holiday Village and had such a lovely time we decided to leave a review. We've stayed in many hotels over the years but you can't beat a homely place where you feel a part of the family. Almond Holiday Village is one of these. We were made so welcome by the staff, it became a home from home for us in no time at all. Our room was clean and comfortable, we had everything we needed. The staff are so friendly and chatty and the food in the restaurant... more

Lovely place, we stayed in a bungalow that was well equipped and had a glorious countryside view. Our bungalow was cleaned every day and we were given fresh towels, it was also nicely decorated. The grounds are beautiful, flowery and well stocked, weed-free - the owners clearly care about the hotel's appearance and it makes it a pleasure to stroll outside. The pool is clean and there are plenty of beds, very nice bar too serving up a good variety of drinks and meals. It's a family-run setup and... more

We booked a week at Almond Holiday Village with gonorthcyprus after finding the website online. We were impressed by the reviews and couldn't wait to take our daughter to north Cyprus. When we arrived, the staff were so friendly - you can tell it's a family-run hotel, there is such a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. We had a lovely villa by the pool, which was well appointed and cleaned daily. Fabulous, well-kept grounds with lots of flowers in bloom and really impressed by the standard of food... more

I booked a break at Almond Holiday Village for myself and my partner with gonorthcyprus after reading the glowing reviews on the site and elsewhere online. Just as everyone else says, this place is the bees' knees! Family run, really friendly and attentive staff, food in the restaurant is delicious and the pool area is spotless. Exceptional value, especially in the restaurant, and wonderfully peaceful. Lovely grounds and mountain views. Our room had a very comfortable bed and modern bathroom facilities,... more

If you're looking for the perfect mix of value and service, Almond Holiday Village does not disappoint. I visited in June with my wife, we booked through GoNorthCyprus for the third time (that is how much we love the place). It's a family run hotel and you couldn't feel more at home, I believe this is why a lot of the guests return year in and year out. It's not always easy finding a holiday that can accommodate a large family of lots of ages, but somehow Almond Holiday Village managed to do just that! We searched on GoNorthCyprus.com for a villa with a local atmosphere in a good location, and we were glad we happened to find this three star hotel. Run by the Asik family, we found all the staff to be lovely and polite and it really helped that they all spoke great English. For a family holiday at a great price, Almond Holiday Village was such a pleasant surprise – thank you gonorthcyprus.com for finding us this gem. There were villas, cottages and rooms to choose from, we picked a cottage because we were concerned our baby would wake people in neighbouring rooms. Towels were changed daily and linen every two days – a blessing when you have a little one in tow. We stayed half board and really enjoyed the meals, which had a home-cooked flavour. An idyllic holiday village, family owned and run . We stayed in a cottage which was ideal for us . We wanted our own balcony/patio , as the hotel only had Juliet balconies, and we like to sit out -either in sun or shade , and in the evening after dinner . Just returned from my first 10 day stay at the Almond Holiday Village. What can I say that others haven't? Fantastic service, lovely surroundings and excellent food. No morning battles for a sun lounger by the pool - plenty to go round even when some residents take 2 or 3 mattresses per lounger - why??? The Kyrenian Mountain Trail passes through Alsancak (about a 15-minute walk) so some walks start almost literally on the doorstep. It's easy (and cheap) to catch a local minibus into Kyrenia and then get a taxi to Bellapais or Karaman. The bus service is less frequent in the opposite direction but we did a couple of interesting walks starting from Karsiyaka.Hotel staff were happy to order taxis for us and they also offer a reasonably priced car hire service which we might use next time. This hotel is ideal for anyone with a young family. They have a huge pool, and a shallow children's pool which is great for small children.
