I wanted to take the family away for a week out of season and we found Fairmont Holiday Village through GoNorthCyprus.com. The price was good for what we were looking for, a mid range hotel with efficient staff, breakfast included and decently equipped. We got exactly what we asked for, our bungalow was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, breakfast was basic but sufficient and the staff were very attentive and friendly. My husband and I stayed at Fairmont Holiday Village for a week, nice to get away from home and escape to somewhere relaxing for a week before Christmas. We booked through gonorthcyprus, they handled everything for us, even the transfers. We had a nice modern apartment with plenty of space, great views of the sea and mountains from the veranda. My family and I stayed at Fairmont recently, having found the hotel on gonorthcyprus.com. We booked through Gary at the agency and he arranged everything for us, even the transfers, which was great. We were welcomed by the owner on arrival and checked in to our mini villa in no time. The accommodation was clean and tidy with a good level of facilities - TV, fridge, very good aircon. We stayed at Fairmont recently after booking with gonorthcyprus and had a great time. We were impressed with the reviews and pleased to find they were spot on, we were made very welcome by the owner and given a clean, neat bungalow which was well furnished and even fitted with a washing machine. All the staff were lovely, even the cleaner, and we felt very much at home. The food was fantastic, very authentic and full of flavour, and the pool area is pleasant and relaxing. My hubby and I booked a week's stay at Fairmont Holiday Village through Gary at GoNorthCyprus and we were both completely impressed by the experience. This was our third stay in the region but out first time at Fairmont, and it won't be our last. The staff were lovely, right from booking in until the farewell when we left. What a wonderful holiday at Fairmont Holiday Village. We'd never been to northern Cyprus before so booked a week through the specialists GoNorthCyprus and we've definitely found a new favourite location. We had a well-kept, spacious bungalow at the site, which is well maintained and clearly cared for by the very friendly owners. This was our third trip to Fairmont, every time we have booked with GoNorthCyprus who are specialists in the area and also seem to get us a very reasonable price. We love the hotel, it's quiet, clean and the staff are very friendly. We had a spacious, well finished bungalow that even had a useful washing machine. We met the cleaner and she was lovely, all the staff are very pleasant and helpful. We hired a car to get around, the hotel is a bit out of the way so having a car is useful for exploring.... more
Nice, homely place, this was our second time at Fairmont, both occasions booked through gonorthcyprus, wouldn't go with anyone else. Very welcoming staff, always feel like you're being well taken care of. Me my wife and our kids had a great time, the owners are sound, they even gave us a couple of lifts so we wouldn't get conned by the cabbies. My family and I just returned from a short break at Fairmont Holiday Village, booked with gonorthcyprus as always. We've been to the region a few times but this was our first stay at Fairmont and it certainly won't be our last! What a lovely place with a real homely atmosphere, quiet and relaxed in a wonderful spot where you can enjoy the mountain views and also reach the beach easily. We booked a week's stay at the Fairmont Holiday Village through Sue at GoNorthCyprus, who was really friendly and helpful, we were very happy with the price we got for our first trip to Cyprus. The holiday village has a wonderful location, very close to the mountains, it really is very picturesque and the pool is beautiful too. I'm not big on leaving reviews but we had such an amazing time at the Fairmont in Kyrenia I felt I had to let everyone know! A friend recommended the gonorthcyprus.com website and it was a very smooth and easy experience. They seem to offer extra tit bits of information that other sites don't, which would greatly benefit first time visitors.The complex itself was spacious, clean and had everything we wanted. Nice clean villa and very nice staff who are very approachable. The design of the villa is impressive as I felt I was in my own separate bungalow with sleeping area upstairs and sitting area on ground floor. The pool is nice and my kids loved it. It is nice and quiet. The only downside is the location on dual carriage way and it has no transport links as yet. Also, as its new not all taxi drivers know where it is and I had to direct them. Fantastic resort. The owned Richard and the site manager/ housekeeper Shayda could not be more friendly and hospitable. They made sure we had a fabulous holiday!!!!! The villas are modern with new fixture and fittings and very clean. The pool area was very relaxing with lots of sun beds and umbrellas available.You would need a car to stay at this resort but in a great location to the beaches, mountains and Kyrenia town and harbour. Myself and my partner got married here 04/07/2014 and it was amazing, we had a wedding planner ( north Cyprus weddings - woman called Theresa also very good ) who organized everything with the owner of the complex. Resat the owner and his farther look after everything but there is also a Iranian woman called Shada who runs the bar area for them. She is lovely! The fairmont is a modern design, minimalistic but very functional and comfortable.The breakfast was nice, we stayed for two weeks and asked if the Hard Boiled Egg could be substituted for a Poached egg and although they had never cooked one before they served them up the following morning, great show on their part.It is a family run affair Father and Son and they were both very attentive to any requests and always delivered no matter what the request.Yes the place is a little bit outside of Kyrenia... more
My husband and I had just been in North Cyprus for a a 1 week Holiday. Stayed in Fairmont Holiday village. I must say...its a wanderful place to stay. We had a fantanstic and enjoyable Holiday. It was so quiet and that is what you need when you come from a busy and noisey city with roaring cars all the time.. Fairmont is the place to go.. We stayed here for a week in early June (early season) so it was quiet, in fact we were the only people there!The owner (Richard) cannot do enough for you, as do other members of his family. The bungalows are large, spacious, clean and have all the facilities you need. To be honest I usualy don`t write review`s but in this case I stongly believe this hotel deseves a review. There are many good thing`s to say about this hotel I don`t know where to start. I enjoyed waking up in the morning opening up the window`s and having a wonderfull view of the mediterranean and the mountains.
