The Malpas experience was everything that we had been hoping for when we booked. A relaxed atmosphere, beautiful, spotless accommodation with outstanding views and a range of facilities that satisfied all the family. The food was varied and plentiful, with restaurant staff always on hand to help. Couldn't have asked for more.

The customer focused attitude was a theme throughout the hotel, from the cleaners and waiters through to management. The pool and Jazz Bar staff in particular were outstanding. Whilst my husband favored the gym and pool, my daughter and I also took advantage of the range of treatments in the spa, again excellent value and lovely, helpful staff.

We had planned to explore a number of sites in the local area during our stay: Ballapais, harbor and castles to name but a few. And whilst we did manage a couple of days out, we actually really enjoyed spending time in the hotel - a first for us!!

There was a problem with our room when we arrived, the hotel management sorted the problem and treated us extremely well. In my book it is how the hotel deal with problems that sets them apart from the run of the mill hotel and the Malpas management certainly got their response right.

Would I stay again? Absolutely, just about to book for 2012...........................
