Vouni Palace Hotel Review - 15 of 22 Reviews

I have to say that I am less than impressed with my stay at the Vouni Palace Hotel. I paid for a 5 star hotel and ended up with about 3 star quality. It was very disappointing as my wife and I had saved over the last couple of years for a proper holiday abroad and I feel like we have wasted our money.

There were some positives to the hotel such as the spacious bedrooms and really attentive cleaning staff. The pool area was also very good and had plenty of space so we never felt like it was crowded.

As for the rest, the Vouni Palace was one big disappointment after another. Upon arrival we found the reception staff to be very unhelpful- they rushed us through and didn't give us a nice welcome. The rest of the staff, with the exception of the cleaners, were just as inattentive, particularly at the pool bar. We complained about how poor the Wi-Fi was at one point and the response we got made us feel like we shouldn't have expected it to be any good!

The breakfast buffet at the Vouni Palace was good as there was a lot to choose from. However, the evening buffet was poor and a lot of the food was near enough cold!

We visited the hotel's casino once and had a great time. It was quite plush and the staff here were really quite friendly, it made a huge contrast to the rest of the hotel so I wonder if this is where they make most of their money.

My wife and I shall not being staying at the Vouni Palace Hotel again and if I thought we could, I would be asking for my money back.
