Lapida Garden Hotel Review - 3 of 21 Reviews

I booked my stay at the Lapida Garden Hotel through Sue at GoNorthCyprus.com. I told him that I didn't enjoy staying at large chain hotels and preferred a more personal touch and he recommended the Lapida. I cannot thank Sue enough as it was a wonderful hotel in the most amazing location.

Set in the town of Lapta, the Lapida Hotel has amazing mountain views. The hotel grounds are filled with fruit trees and beautiful plants which have been very well kept. The hotel is very small but very well presented and because it's small, the owners pay great attention to detail with everything. In fact, Fethi, one of the owners, works with iron and has created interesting pieces which decorate the communal areas. He also has a love of antiques and displays them around the hotel for guests to view. I have stayed at smaller hotels before where the staff have been a bit over-bearing with their hospitality but at the Lapida they strike a happy medium between being friendly and helpful and allowing their guests space to enjoy their holiday.

The food at the Lapida Hotel is excellent. My partner and I stayed on a half board basis and were so glad we did because the evening meals were delicious. The choice on offer was excellent and we tasted some wonderful traditional Turkish-Cypriot dishes.

Probably my favourite thing about the Lapida, besides the view, was its outdoor pool which was wonderfully warm. It was also situated at the end of the gardens so you get a beautiful view whilst sunbathing!

Our hotel room was really clean and well presented and the bed was comfortable. We were even lucky enough to have a partial sea view as well as a clear view of the mountains.

I wouldn't hesitate to book another stay at the Lapida Hotel. It made our holiday truly relaxing and memorable.
