Jasmine Court Hotel Review - 17 of 18 Reviews

I'd read mixed reviews about the Jasmine Court Hotel and have to say that it wouldn't have been my first choice of places to stay but I booked a last minute holiday for my family so didn't have much choice. The 5 star element reassured me that it wouldn't be that bad! I booked the holiday through Go North Cyprus and Sue helped me out- she was really helpful in finding the best package at such short notice.

I have to say that with our apprehensions, we were really happy with the Jasmine Court. It had everything we needed from a holiday and the pool area was excellent- perfect for the kids. It's also right next to Kyrenia Beach which was so handy because when we weren't relaxing by the pool, we could take the kids to the beach without a massive trek.

The best thing about the Jasmine Court Hotel was our room. It was so spacious, with a clear distinction between bedroom area and a comfortable seating area. We were also blessed with a sea view which definitely added to the stay! The room was fairly stylish and very clean. We couldn't complain here.

The food at the hotel was very good. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and clean. We ate in the restaurants a couple of times and enjoyed our meals. Although, one day, we'd been on a rather long excursion and came back late for dinner. We sat down at about quarter past 8 and had drinks, but when we went up to get a selection from the buffet, there was hardly anything left. When we asked, they told us that they start clearing away at this time and wouldn't make any more food. This upset me a little as we were paying guests.

The staff at the hotel were friendly enough but we did feel that the whole place lacked attention to detail. If it was marketed at a 4 star standard, it probably wouldn't receive negative reviews, but when looking to stay in a 5 star hotel, you do expect something special. The hotel was good overall but just didn't wow us.
