Hotel Club Z is a cheap, cheerful place to stay for anyone who wants a good time for a relatively small amount of money. I took my family of four there and none of us left feeling disappointed.

The hotel itself could definitely do with some modernising- it certainly hasn't been redecorated in some years and this shows. That's not to say the place is awful to look at, it could just do with some aesthetic updates. The curtains and carpets, for example, are very “early 90s” looking (personal preference will dictate whether this is a good or a bad thing). The staff, on the other hand, were fantastic and were one of the main reasons my family and I had such a great time. They were enthusiastic and cheerful and above all eager to help us get the most out of our visit.

Hotel Club Z is positioned around ten minutes walk from many of the major points of interest, including the town centre and the harbour, where there are plenty of great restaurants and bars for your convenience. On top of that, the area surrounding the hotel is a genuinely relaxing place to spend time (I suspect the large, relatively quiet swimming pool has something to do with this).

If you're on a tight budget, or you simply don't mind not staying in totally top notch accommodation then Club Z should be right up your street. Whilst we have been to nicer looking venues, we rarely encounter places with such a nice atmosphere and for so little expense.
