This is a hotel review for Green Holiday Village in Kyrenia, North Cyprus

“Family fun in the sun”

Our extended family holidayed at the Green Holiday Village for 10 days, and we had a great time. Our 2 bedroom apartments were big and airy and clean, and the bathrooms OK. Whole village looked like new.

Pool was great, clean, nice bridge over it, plenty of sunloungers, no people hogging them with towels...

Breakfast in the hotel was good, lots to eat, but we had dinner one night and the food was not warm, and not tasty. The pool snack bar was OK for lunch for the kids, but I thought pricey for what you got.

Biggest disappointment was the apartment 'kitchen', which had everything we needed - except cutlery. We always used to laugh at my Mum taking plastic plates etc on holiday, but she had the last laugh as she unpacked her trusty picnic kit!! so we ate out a lot in Alsancak as it was close, we liked Seveners and Rivada fish & chips on main road, fav was probably Guidos. Best food buy we made was a big pack of bacon from the Atakara supermarket, which made good 'hunger-monster' sarnies!
