This is a hotel review for Colony Hotel in Kyrenia, North Cyprus

The location unacceptable. vis a vis petrol station, street with high traffic. View from the hotel rooms eitther on the abandoned construction or on the roof. On wekend terrible noise from the restaurant until 2 am. The beach located about 10 km from the hotel and in the hotel no written information how to find the beach. During stay all the time the porch was unaccessible because of construction works. The hotel regulations prohibit bringing own drinking water to the rooms. And it happens during summer heat when a couple should drink at least 7 liters water. Ridiculous and stupid and the receptionsts are strictly controlling what the guest are bringing to the room. The porch under reconstruction made allmost impossile access to the main entrance. The rooms very small like in two star hotel without tea or coffee utensils.
Because of this in spite of the fact that we paid in advance for 11 days stay we left the hotel after six days, of course without any compenation.
In conclusion we will never stay in this hotel, and never recomend this hotel.
