Savoy Ottoman Palace Hotel Review - 8 of 35 Reviews

I found the staff very helpfull and could'nt do enough for you. The few points we found were a bit poor for a 5 star, you didnt have any tea or coffee making facilities in the room. It took staff almost 45 mins to sort out access to our room as the key card system didnt work after we came back from a walk in the town. I informed the Main Bar that the cornona was out of date and had been since Jan 2010. They removed all the bottles and could'nt get any more till the next day. They didnt even offer a free drink to replace anymore I wanted to purchase or bringing to there attention. At dinner which was a buffet , we found this to be a bit of a poor standard and not much choice. You could order a full English Breakfast for room service at a extra charge but you couldnt get one to eat in the restuarant. I was'nt able to go to the roof garden to take photos of the mountains on the only clear day we had. I would still recommend this hotel even with the down points that were noticed, as everything else made up for the good points. We travelled from Larnaca and found We didnt have any problems finding a crossing to the north or finding this Hotel.
