Having been recommended by several people we were so looking forward to Christmas at the Pia Bella. Oh how dissapointed we were when we arrived!

We were greeted by a most unhelpful receptionist to check-in, following this we were taken to our rooms, one deluxe double and one standard single. The deluxe double was situated overlooking the petrol station on the main road so we immediately asked to be moved! We were told sorry we do not have any double bedded rooms with nicer views, you can only have a twin room......gasped for breath I just wanted to go back home. So why did we pay for a double deluxe then?

From then on it just got worse.....the food was awful, the staff were rude and as for the barman well he has no idea how to serve a proper drink!

Consequently we checked out after two nights and lost the money for the other two but it was worth it as we could not slum it any longer. We then treated ourselves to the Cratos Premium Hotel, absolutely fabulous and WELL WORTH THE MONEY!

Friends of ours who also stayed at the Pia Bella at the same time as us said never again, it had gone down hill drastically.
