This is a hotel review for Pia Bella Hotel in Kyrenia, North Cyprus
“Nice friendly hotel”
I have stayed in this hotel a few times, mainly due to its location and good value foor money off season.
Regarding the review from Englishman and the transfer, he blames the different in price in the transfer from Larnaca to Kyrenia to the euro. The truth is that if you pre-book a taxi it is far cheaper, whereas he turned up and was let down for whatever reason and had to take the taxi at the airport. The same happens when you fly into Ercan airport in Northern Cyprs, if you have arranged a pick up it is half the price. Taxi drivers at the airport will charge more just because they can. Unfair to blame the euro.
Liked — pools during the summer
Disliked — Cold in January, more heating required, open fires give leiitle heat in lounge area
