Palm Beach Hotel Review - 16 of 41 Reviews

My family and I are keen on holidays abroad and try to go at least once a year. We've been to most places in Europe but never to North Cyprus. We stayed at the Palm Beach Hotel, through a recommendation from Mandy at Go North Cyprus. The closest town to the hotel was a lovely, old fashioned town called Famagusta. I cannot explain what a brilliant holiday we had! It was the best ever in so many ways.

Firstly, the area was spot on. North Cyprus is stunning and has such a diverse landscape from a crystal sea to a large mountain range. In particular, Famagusta was lovely. It still had so many of its historic features in tact, despite being visited by tourists. In fact, we felt that the whole area remained unspoilt by tourists; this sets it apart from so many destinations. Our hotel was a 20ish minute walk away from the town which we didn't mind at all as we like the kids to get plenty of exercise.

Most importantly, the Palm Beach Hotel was amazing. It had everything we could have asked for, from beautiful grounds to an excellent pool area. There was also a selection of restaurants to choose from and on one night we treated ourselves to the posh a la carte restaurant. It was spot on, with gorgeous fresh fish. We were totally impressed by the food at the hotel and were so pleased that we booked half board.

Our hotel room wasn't very large but it was decorated in a fairly modern style, with what seemed like a new bathroom suite. It felt quite luxurious compared to so many other hotels we've stayed at abroad. The entire hotel, including our room, was incredibly clean and the maid service was really professional.

I literally do not have a bad word to say about the Palm Beach. The staff were really friendly and the hotel even provided its own entertainment. All I can say is that I can't wait to book next year's holiday as we're certain about where we will go!
