Absolutely overrated hotel. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Even Motel 6 budget drive-in hotel chain in the USA is much cleaner and offer much better service. If Jasmine Court is 5 stars, Motel 6 should get at least 6 stars. Service was awful, cleanliness was severly compromised, AC system no working properly, mosquitoes everywhere. Staff was nonresponsive and rude, reception not helpful, internet even we paid for it, not working properly. Food and drinks overpriced and what included in the package as breakfast due to dirty look of hte place we chose to go outside for food much. It was much cheaper, cleaner and better service. We complained this hotel to the Ministry of Tourism of N. Cyprus that it should be rated at best 3 stars ro requires a major makeover and also different management as the current staff there simply has no idea about hotel management, service, customer satisfaction etc. We loved hospitality of Turkish Cypriots and the weather though. Sea is very clean, crystal clear waters. Kyrenia is a beautiful city, ideal for a sea and sun vacation without the huge crowds and noise of other Mediterranean vacation destinations. However, we made the wrong hotel choice. What portrayed on the internet about this hotel was not correct; simply it doesn't deliver nor meet the expectations of the guests for a 5 star hotel. It should be re-evaluated and decrease the stars given for it. I simply couldn't figure out who and how, based on what criteria this hotel was rated as 5 star. Simply a rip off and I definitely do not recommend it to anyone although highly recommend North Cyprus vacations as there is much to see and enjoy in a very quaint and lovely atmosphere, weather and hospitable local people.
